"General Dynamics has been committed to the FRES programme, investing significantly over several years. We hope this new approach will allow all participants in the programme – MoD, industry and the soldiers – to achieve their objectives. It is of course important that the MoD now moves swiftly to outline the future and the next steps in a timely manner, so that industry can manage and retain its skills and the soldiers can get the best vehicle when they need it."
