Our security and resilience capabilities

In May 2008 General Dynamics UK acquired two companies: Page Europa and Anteon. This significantly increased our presence in the worldwide security and resilience markets and means we are now one of very few defence companies to offer such strong and diverse capabilities in this area.

Page Europa

Page Europa - Oil RigPage Europa - Oil RigPage Europa, which has operations in Italy and Turkey, provides security and resilience systems for customers all over the world. For more than 45 years, the company has built a reputation for excellence in implementing some of the most complex, challenging advanced telecommunication and critical infrastructure projects in the world, most notably in the oil, gas and communications industries. The extensive list of private and public sector clients includes NATO, Shell and BP. Page Europa’s key specialisms are:

  • Intrusion detection, anti-sabotage, video-surveillance and security systems
  • Fixed telecommunications, networks and information systems
  • Secure voice and data mobile tactical communications systems

Anteon

WDR UnloadingAnteon, based in the UK, specialises in the development and supply of biometric credential systems, the supply of imagery exploitation software and the design and integration of IT network systems. The company also supplies a classroom registration and cashless catering system to UK schools, based upon biometric or non-biometric identification.

In addition, Anteon specialises in the design, build, integration, supply and refurbishment of deployable shelters and ISO containerised solutions for the military. Clients include the UK MoD, prime contractors and education authorities/schools.

When combined with General Dynamics UK’s existing ISTAR capabilities and technologies such as gait analysis, facial recognition, data mining, simulation and security technology capabilities; the addition of Page Europa and Anteon place us in a uniquely strong position to exploit and further develop vital technologies for the security and resilience markets.
